球场地处3100米海拔的高原之上，由著名的球场设计师尼尔•哈沃斯设计。因海拔较高，空气稀薄，地心引力小而特别设计的18洞72杆8548码的球道长度已被证实为一项世界记录。球道设置布局精巧，前九洞与后九洞依自然山水地貌不同而风格迥异，尽显亚洲唯一雪山高尔夫球场的独特神韵。会所取当地民居建筑之精华，独具民族特色，崇尚自然，古色古香。人在球场，宛如身处传说中的“香格里拉”世外桃源，心旷神怡，优悠闲适，尽享安逸。
烘托球场周边有海拔5596米、北半球纬度最低又终年积雪，至今未被人类征服的玉龙雪山；有已申报成功成为世界文化遗产的丽江古城；有当世仅存的至今还遗留着母系氏族社会婚姻习俗的摩梭人所在地泸沽湖；有目前世界上唯一还活着（使用中）的象形文字——东巴文；有十多个少数民族和睦共处，奇特浓郁的民俗风情……这里冬无严寒，夏无酷暑，一年四季气候宜人。阳光明媚，空气清新，交通畅通,旅游设施完备。这些，都使俱乐部具备了成为世界级度假村的各种要素。

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Club
The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain golf club is situated at Ganhaizi, at the foot of the picturesque Jade Dragon Snow Mountain of Lijiang, in Yunnan province. Located on a snow—capped mountain, in the thick of nature, and amongst ethnic villages, it is one of the most unique golf courses in China.
The golf course is designed by world-renown, Neil Haworth. Situated 3100 meters above sea level, Mr. Haworth, because of the thin air and weak gravity, designed the fairway width for 18 holes; with par 72 spreading 8,548 yards in length-a new world record. The first 9 holes are laid out very different to the last 9 holes-according to the challenging landscape. The clubhouse is constructed using local craft and artifacts, giving one the feeling of being in the mythical paradise —Shangri-la.
The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which faces the golf course, is 5596 meters high, is yet to be conquered by any clinbers. Neighboring the course, you will find the world heritage town of Lijiang; the Lugu Lake village, where the Mosuo people still holds the matriarchy lifestyle; the only living hieroglyphic Dongba culture; and ten other ethnic groups, all living in harmony.
